Strategy a) Enclose the existing breezeway porch b) Reposition centrally located WC/Utility Room toexterior wall. c) Mainntain existing staircase to enable owner to reside during cconstruction.

Concept: A series of "interstitial" living spaces composed around a central block of storage and service elements.

Solution: A "Central Block" enabling air and light to flow from one space to another thereby enabbling each space to be used for a variety of functions throughout the day.

A series of sliding partition panels enable the Central Block to be read as a freestanding element connecting Kitchen, Study and Living spaces.
